Dr. Rodney Carter, M.D.
With a medical background spanning nearly three decades, Dr. Rodney Carter served as a Family Practice Physician in Sevierville, TN at LeConte Family Practice. Unfortunately, the facility had to close its doors in 2017, as the increasing burden of government regulations and escalating costs proved overwhelming. However, Dr. Carter recognized the urgent need for physicians in Addiction Medicine, leading him to pursue additional certification as an Addiction Specialist. As a result, he now holds dual board certifications in both Family Practice and Addiction Medicine.
Over the past seven years, Dr. Carter has dedicated his expertise to serving two addiction clinics, where he continues to make a meaningful impact. At the newly established LeConte Family Practice, he will bring forth his experience in both specialties, ensuring that patients can benefit from comprehensive care addressing both family practice and those struggling with drug addiction.
Linda Carter, R.N.
Linda Carter, an experienced Office Manager and Registered Nurse, has joined her husband in reopening LeConte Family Practice. With 17 years of experience working together, Linda and Dr. Carter have established effective teamwork. Linda is also a Healing Touch Practitioner who uses energy work and essential oils to enhance holistic well-being. Her experience and dedication contribute to creating a patient-centered and comprehensive care environment at LeConte Family Practice.
